The Production Sedan racing division are hard-top car’s that seat a minimum of four people as per the car’s compliance plate. Productions sedans were only introduced to QLD in 2011 and are rapidly growing in popularity. They are raced across most states currently in Australia.
The rule book to production sedans state they must be no older than 5 years old, for example currently a car racing in 2017 can build a car up to a 2012 model. The engines are a maximum 6-cylinder reciprocating engine to 4500cc absolute. No rotary engines allowed and maximum of two valves per cylinder.
