Non-wing sprints are still a very new racing division in Australia, the Australian Wingless Sprints Inc. was formed in 2009, since their inception the division has seen severe growth and is now a major racing division in Australia.

The cars range from approximately $10000 to upwards of $15000 and are a very cost-effective division with even playing field for all competitors. The non-wing sprints use sprintcar chassis and V8 engines.
